If you have looked at some of the other relevant FAQs, you may already have found part of the answer to your question. There are other factors that must always be taken into account which are common to all learning processes: these involve the issues of dealing with change, and methods or strategies for supporting learning. As such the NMAHM® is no different to many other systems. However the universal applicability of the NMAHM® to all situations where it is appropriate to employ movement, i.e.in all areas of life, and the “combination” of both Specific and Patterning Conditioning really seem to help people overcome many of these issues, and also to help motivate people in continuing their development even when they are not being directly supported by “significant others” in their home, social, leisure and/or working life.
